Copy A Magellan Sd Card

Magellan SD cards are commonly used in GPS units. They store map files and images, and can be used to transfer these files onto your computer. You can copy the files onto a computer and copy them to another SD card or portable storage device. This is useful if you need to add map files onto another GPS unit, or to have the files backed up in case you lose the data on your GPS.

Instructions

1. Remove your Magellan SD card from your GPS unit or storage case.

2. Insert the Magellan SD card into the SD card reader on your PC.

3. Click on the "Start" logo to open the menu and click on "Computer." Select the SD card by double-clicking on it.

4. Move the files from the SD card to your computer's hard drive. You can now safely remove the SD card from the computer.

5. Insert whichever device you wish to move the Magellan SD card files to into the computer. Open the device in the "Computer" menu. Drag the files from the hard drive into the storage device to copy them onto it. Safely remove the storage device from you PC.
