Set A Sharp Atomic Clock Model Spc900

The Sharp SPC900 clock radio uses a transmitter to pick up radio signals from an atomic clock. The unit comes in two parts. You mount the transmitter within 330 feet of the base unit, and the base unit acts as a normal clock radio. You only need to set the time and date information on the clock if it is out of range of a transmitter, or the transmitter can't acquire a signal.

Instructions

Setting the Transmitter

1. Remove the battery door from the back of the transmitter and press the "RESET" button. Install two AA batteries if necessary.

2. Press the "CHANNEL" button to set the SPC900 to channel 1 or channel 2. If the clock's wireless signal indicator shows no signal, try a different channel.

3. Replace the battery door on the transmitter.

Setting the Clock

5. Set the time zone by pressing and releasing the "TIME" button on the clock. Press the "UP" button to cycle through the four available United States' time zones.
