Troubleshoot A Belkin Tunecast

Belkin is one of the leaders in MP3 and other portable music player accessories. The Belkin Tunecast Mobile Transmitter is a device used for playing your portable music players through your car or home stereo. When your Belkin Tunecast has a weak signal, a few factors might be affecting it.

Instructions

1. Set the volume on your portable music player to an average, or medium, level. Use your stereo to adjust the volume for your Belkin Tunecast instead of your portable music player.

2. Verify the charge of the batteries in your Belkin Tunecast. Batteries with a low or weakened charge will damper the signal significantly.

3. Check all cables leading into and out of your Belkin Tunecast and portable music device for loose connections. Unplug all cables and replug them back in to ensure they make a firm connection.

4. Place the Belkin Tunecast close to the position of your FM antenna on your stereo. A small distance, less than 10 feet, gives you a strong signal.
