Play A Photo Dvd On Tv

Play a Photo DVD on TV

Photo DVDs contain photo slides and albums that you can click through or play like a video. A person can have a photo DVD-typically a DVD-R/RW-made at a professional photo shop or kiosk, or he can make a photo DVD on a computer via photo editing and DVD burning software. Playing your photo DVD to show the photos on your TV isn't difficult; photo DVDs work the same way as movie or video DVDs and require only a DVD player.

Instructions

1. Turn on your TV and DVD player and then load the photo DVD into the player.

2. Retrieve general photo DVD playing instructions for your specific photo DVD from the professional photo shop or kiosk where you had the DVD made or review the instructions provided with your photo DVD-making software. Although photo DVDs play the same way as regular DVDs, your specific DVD may require that you use certain buttons on your remote in place of the buttons that you normally use to scroll through a DVD menu, select/click items or play transitional videos. For example, you might need to press the numbers on your keypad-corresponding to a slide show or album title-to highlight an item to select on the DVD menu. Instead of the "Up" and "Down" arrow keys to scroll through selections, you may need to use the "Fast Forward/Rewind" buttons.

3. Select a slide, slide show or photo album on the main screen of your DVD using your remote control. Depending on the software used to make your photo DVD, you may need to click on an item, icon, number, chapter or menu title. Click through slides or play slide shows as desired. If your photo DVD includes transition effects, music or other DVD features with changeable settings on the main DVD menu or a separate settings menu, change these options to match your preferences. For example, you might click an "ON/OFF" icon or button on the main DVD menu or change slide show settings in a settings menu to switch off an automatic slide show so you can access a specific photo or click through slides using your remote.
