Attach Mobile Files

Mobile phones have become integrated in our everyday life. No longer a wireless phones used just for conversations, the devices can store pictures, emails, games and even videos. However, not all files can be sent via email over the wireless phone, so you may need to import the data onto your computer and attach the mobile file to a message sent over the Internet.


Instructions


1. Insert the USB data cable into the power port on the mobile phone and connect the other end of the cable to a free USB port on the computer.


2. Wait a moment until the computer detects the new "removable memory device."


3. Open "My Computer" ("Computer" in later versions of Windows) and select the mobile phone removable memory device.


4. Open the file "Music," "Pictures" or any other folder that may hold the content you want to attach.








5. Click and drag the content onto your computer's desktop.


6. Launch your Internet browser and log onto your email account. Type in the recipients email address and click the "Attach" button. A small search window now appears. Select the mobile file you dragged onto your desktop and click "OK."








7. Type in any desired message in the message window and click "Send." The mobile file is now sent to the other email address.
