Hard Reset An Htc Touch Pro

An HTC Touch Pro is a smartphone. The phone features a touch screen, camera, full QWERTY keyboard and the ability to access a 2G or 3G network. Should the cell phone begin malfunctioning or not performing correctly, a soft reset can be performed. If the soft reset doesn't work, or you wish to delete all information stored in the phone and restore factory settings, a hard reset can be performed.

Instructions

1. Remove the stylus from the phone.

2. Power on the HTC Touch Pro.

3. Insert the tip of the stylus into the reset hole to reach the reset button. The reset button is located on the left hand side of the phone. At the same time, press and hold down the "Enter" button on the front of the cell phone and the "Volume Down" button, located on the right hand side of the phone.

4. Release the "Enter" and "Volume Down" button, but keep the stylus pressing the reset button. Press the "Volume Up" button, located directly above the "Volume Down" button. The phone is now reset.
