Even if you have the most basic and brief encounters with civilization, you probably come across chain messages. They start in the mail, gain in numbers and strength through email and eventually spill over onto your phone via text messaging. Some people love them, some people loathe them. If you find yourself hard pressed to get rid of them, here are some tips on keep them around for a while.
Instructions
1. Select all your favorite chain text messages. You know, the ones that really make you LOL or LMAO. Chances are, if you have one, you have a dozen of them. If you send them along to others (which you are supposed to), you may have some in your outbox as well.
2. Write them down on a piece of paper. Old school writing meets new school technology. If you really like your text, why not turn it into something tangible that you can see everyday. Leave it by your bedside.
3. Keep them in your cell phone inbox. This may only be a temporary arrangement, as inbox space runs out very fast. Chain texts can build up very quickly if your friends are chronic texters. You're phone should let you know if you've just about run out of space.
4. Email them to yourself. Some phones have the option of sending texts like emails. Take advantage of this option and the much roomier confines of your email's e-space. Of course, you may receive tons of chain texts a day or perhaps you've been recording them for a while. You're email is starting to fill up.
5. Open up a new email account. Email providers like gmail offer tons of space for your messages. Consider it like an attic or a storage basement for your favorite chain texts.
6. Save them on your computer's hard drive or a removable storage device. You can write them out by hand or send them to yourself and copy and paste. Just like the email option, this will offer you a lot more space. But be careful not to use it all up.
