A number of Panasonic telephones have a technology called "Sound Charger Plus" pre-installed. This is a type of noise canceling technology that separates background noise from the noise of the person talking on the phone, making sure her voice is received as clearly as possible by whomever they are talking to. Setting up a Panasonic "Sound Charger Plus" phone isn't all that different from setting up any regular home phone.
Instructions
1. Plug the power cable attached to the base of your Panasonic telephone into a wall outlet near a phone jack in your wall. This power cable supplies the base with power, which in turn charges the battery in your cordless handset.
2. Connect a phone cable to your Panasonic telephone base. The phone cable goes into the input on the back of the base and into your wall phone jack. This phone cable lets the Panasonic telephone use your home phone line for communications purposes. This phone cable was included in the box with the phone.
3. Insert the included battery into the battery compartment on the back of your cordless handset.
4. Place the handset down on the charging cradle that is built into the base unit of the phone. This will begin the process of charging the battery. When the battery is fully charged, the "Battery" light on the base will turn a solid color and stop blinking.
5. Use your phone normally. "Sound Charger Plus" noise canceling technology is not something that you turn on or off; it is built into the handset of the phone. As you talk, the Sound Charger Plus technology will separate background noise from your voice and only allow your voice to pass through to the person you're speaking with.
