Use Flash Memory Card To Copy Files

Flash memory cards are older memory cards that were used in older digital cameras. Since these cards are no longer used, it may be hard to find a computer that natively supports Flash memory cards. However, a Flash-memory-card-to-USB converter will allow you to use your Flash memory card on your computer.

Instructions

1. Place the Flash memory card into the computer's Flash memory card slot. If the computer does not have a Flash memory card slot, connect the Flash memory card into a Flash-memory-card-to-USB converter; this device has a slot into which you can place a Flash memory card and is connected to your computer via a USB port. Insert the Flash memory card into the converter's card slot gently so that it clicks into place. Make sure that the directional arrow on the card is facing upwards when you insert it into the converter. Plug the USB end of the converter into the computer's USB port. You can purchase a Flash-to-USB converter at an electronics store or in some larger department stores.

2. Click the "View All Files and Folders" option in the autoplay screen that appears once the Flash memory card is connected. A folder containing all of the Flash memory card's information will open.

3. Find the file on the computer that you want to copy.

4. Click on the file and drag it into the Flash memory card's folder.
