Pioneer car CD systems not only play discs, they include other features like a digital clock. The clock will sometimes need to be reset, this is especially true if the car battery is changed or there is an interruption in power to the system. The steps to reset the clock depend on the exact Pioneer CD player model you have. Generally, the clock can be controlled by the function button (like with the DEH-1200MP and FH-P4200 models) or the "Multi-Control" button (like with the DEH-2100IB model).
Instructions
1. Press the "Src/Off" button until the Pioneer CD player turns off.
2. Press and hold the "Src/Off" button again until the clock displays in the unit screen. In some Pioneer units, hold the "Multi-Control" button until "Clock Set" appears in the display.
3. Press the "F" (Function) button on the front of the CD player. In some units, press the "Multi-Control" button again to enter the setting mode.
4. Touch the left or right arrow buttons, or "Multi-Control," to select the segment of the time you want to change (e.g., hour or minute).
5. Tap the "Up" and "Down" arrow keys, or turn the "Multi-Control" button, to scroll through and select a number for that field. For example, if changing the hour to "2," scroll up or down until you get to the two. Use the right arrow to scroll over to the minute segment of the display. Use the "Up" and "Down" arrow keys to select the numbers that make up the appropriate number.
