Connect A Pc To A Hitachi Projector Through An Svideo With No Color

Projector

Projectors allow you to display the contents of your computer to a larger audience, however older projectors (or possibly damaged projectors) such as a Hitachi projector, only displays the content in black and white. You can connect your computer to the projector with many different cable connects. If you do have an S-video out port on your computer (usually found on a high-end video card) you can run the cable to the projector.

Instructions

1. Plug the S-video cable into the S-video out port on your computer. If your computer doesn't have an S-video out port, you can obtain a new video card from most computer or electronic stores.

2. Run the cable to the Hitachi projector and plug the other end of the cable into the S-video port on the device.

3. Power on the computer and the Hitachi projector. It takes several minutes for the Hitachi projector to warm up. Make sure and remove the lens cap from the projector.

4. Press the "Menu" button on the Hitachi projector and select "Input." On the projected surface you can see a wide list of options. Select "S-video" and the content from the computer projects through the Hitachi projector.
