Put Music On My Sidekick3

The Sidekick3 offers many features beyond being a phone. One popular feature is its ability to act as an MP3 player. Adding songs to your Sidekick3 is as easy as using any external storage device. After learning put music on a Sidekick3, you can also create your own ringtones. Follow these simple instructions, and you'll be enjoying your favorite tunes in no time.


Instructions








1. Locate music on your computer's hard drive. Copy all the music you want to move onto your Sidekick3 to a special folder and label it "Music."








2. Plug your Sidekick3 into your computer using a mini USB cable. Make sure the connection is securely fastened at both ends. Your computer will make a distinct beep to let you know the two are connected properly. Your computer now recognizes your phone as an external storage device.


3. Locate and double-click the icon representing the Sidekick3 on your desktop. This should be the same icon as any other external storage device. Locate the folder labeled "Music" on the Sidekick3.


4. Open the folder of music you made on your computer. Select and drag the MP3 files from that folder into the folder labeled "Music" on the Sidekick3.


5. Disconnect the Sidekick3 from your computer. Scroll down to the "Music Player" on your Sidekick3 to verify that the music has been transferred properly.
