Take Red Eye Out Of Kodak Easyshare Digital Photos

Red eye is caused by flash exposures reflecting in the eye of a photographed subject. According to Kodak, it is the most common problem people want to fix in their photos. The Kodak Easyshare system makes it easy to digitally remove red eye from digital photographs. Kodak offers three methods for removing this blemish: online with the Kodak Easyshare Gallery, at home with the Kodak Easyshare Software, or at the store at a Kodak Picture Maker kiosk.

Instructions

Online Kodak Easyshare Gallery

1. Get online. Go to www.kodakgallery.com. Log into user account.

2. Click My Photos. Select the album with the photo to be edited. Click on the photo. Click Edit.

3. Click on Quality and Tints. Check the Red Eye checkbox. The system will auto-correct the red eye. Click save to save the changes. Click Save a Copy to save the edited copy with the rest of the photos in the album.

Kodak Easyshare Software

4. Display the picture in the Edit Picture window. Click the Red Eye icon.

5. Click Auto Correct. Should the Auto Correct not sufficiently fix the red eye, it can be corrected manually.

6. Drag the Zoom slider to the right while the picture is in the Edit Picture window. This will make the eye area more visible.

7. Position the curser over the eye to be edited. Click the mouse button. Click repetitively until the eye appearance is satisfactory.

8. Click Accept. Save the edited picture.

Kodak Picture Kiosk

9. Upload picture to the Kiosk. Pictures can be digital or scanned physical photos.

10. Focus on the eyes in the photos. Touching the screen in the area of the eyes will bring them into closer focus.

11. Touch the Remove Red Eye feature on the screen. The system will auto-correct the image.

12. Print the edited picture.
