Set The Time On An Rca Rp5020 Digital Voice Recorder

The RCA RP5020 is a digital voice recorder that automatically stamps each recording with a time and date. You must set the time and date function through the menu on the device. Once set, the recorder will display the time and date of each recording on the main screen as you cycle through the recordings. The RP5020 can accept input from a separate microphone, or the on-board microphone.


Instructions


1. Press the "Menu" button repeatedly until the "Year" prompt appears. The default year is 2006.


2. Press the "Forward" button to increase the year, and the "Reverse" button to decrease the year.


3. Press the "Menu" key to confirm and move to the "Month / Date" screen. Press "Forward" or "Reverse" to increase or decrease the month, then press "Menu" to move to the date. Use the same keys to increase or decrease the date, then press "Menu" to move to the hour format.


4. Press "Forward" or "Reverse" to cycle through 12 or 24 hour time format. Press "Menu" to confirm and move to the Time screen.


5. Press "Forward" or "Reverse" to increase or decrease the hour, then press "Menu" to confirm and select the minute field. Press "Forward" or "Reverse" to cycle through the minutes, then press "Menu" to confirm and exit.
