Make A Phone Call On The Iphone

Owners of the iPhone can listen to their music, check out the Web and write notes, but they also can utilize the basic call functions of their phones. There are multiple calling tools on the iPhone that lets you conduct business on the move.

Instructions

1. Review your iPhone's signal before you make a phone call to ensure audio clarity. The signal meter is located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and you should have a full meter before you make a call.

2. Bring up the iPhone keyboard after you activate the Call feature. The "Call" button is a green button located on the bottom of the screen. You should use this option for new numbers that have not been entered into your Contacts list.

3. Get in touch with your friends, family and business associates using your Contact list. After touching the "Call" button, your Contacts list is activated and you can simply touch the phone number associated with a particular person.

4. Answer calls on your iPhone with a simple tap of the phone screen. You can get the name, phone number and other information you have entered on a particular person before you answer. Press the red "Answer" key at the bottom of the phone to speak with a caller.

5. Silence incoming calls using the "Sleep/Wake" key on your iPhone. This key is located at the top of the iPhone body and allows you to turn off call sounds or shut off your phone for a short period.

6. Check the last person who contacted you via the phone by checking your last keyboard entry. You can make a repeat call or add a number to your Contacts list by touching the "Call" button, tapping the main screen on the keyboard and copying down the number.

7. Use the full power of the iPhone while you are on hold during a call. You can tap the "Home" button on your iPhone screen to get back to the full list of functions, including email and stock tracking.
