You can directly connect a security camera to your television.
Closed-circuit cameras are used to monitor your home, office or any other location you want to monitor at all times. The security camera connects directly to a digital video recorder, and if you want to watch the security camera content as it takes place, you must then hook up the DVR to a television. Once everything is connected you can record and view the security camera at the same time.
Instructions
1. Connect the coaxial cable running from the security camera into the "In" port on the digital video recorder.
2. Attach another coaxial cable into the "Out" port on the DVR. Make sure the cable is completely inserted into the connection port on the DVR.
3. Insert the opposite end of the cable into the "In" port on the rear of the television.
4. Power on the security camera, DVR and the television. Set the station to channel "3" and the security camera content loads onto the television screen.
