Reset A Jabra Headset

A sleek and pretty Jabra headset doesn't do you much good if it stops communicating with your cell phone. Updating software, poor signal, even sleep mode can sometimes cause the Jabra to loose contact with a cell phone. If your phone is no longer recognizing your headset or the headset isn't able to connect with the phone, you will need to reset your headset. Resetting a Jabra headset is a simple process; all you need is electricity.

Instructions

1. Delete the pairing between your cell phone and the Jabra headset. Press the "Menu" button on your cell phone. This will take you to the phone's main menu. Using the arrow keys to scroll through the menu until you find the Bluetooth menu, then press "OK." Locate your Jabra headset in the Bluetooth submenu and follow your phone's instructions to sever the pairing.

2. Plug the headset into its adapter then plug the adapter into the wall. Let it charge for five seconds. Unplug the adapter from the wall.

3. Turn the headset off. Now reset your phone by removing the battery or SIM card. Once the phone has been reset you can pair your headset to the cell phone again.
