Connect A Bose 901 Equalizer To A Denon Avr 3600

Standard stereo cables connect the equalizer to the receiver.

The Bose 901 audio equalizer comes with the Bose 901 speaker package and is used for adjusting sound across a range of frequencies. The Denon AVR 3600 is a high-end audio-video receiver with tape monitor jacks for connecting an equalizer such as the Bose 901. Two standard stereo cables with RCA-type connector plugs on both ends are needed to connect the components.

Instructions

1. Plug one end of a stereo cable into the two "Tape OUT" audio jacks on the rear of the Denon AVR 3600, connecting the white plug to the left jack and the red plug to the right.

2. Connect the plugs on the other end of the cable to the "Audio IN" jacks on the rear of the 901 equalizer.

3. Hook up the second set of stereo cables from the "Audio OUT" jacks on the equalizer to the "Tape 2 Audio IN" jacks on the Denon receiver.

4. Press the "Tape Monitor" button on the front of the Denon to activate the connection to the equalizer. Pressing the button a second time bypasses the equalizer.
