Print With Windows Mobile

Windows Mobile is the Windows operating system for smartphones and PDA devices. It allows you to run office applications on your mobile phone, giving you remote access to files such as Excel and PDF documents, which is helpful if you are frequently away from your office. Being able to print your files remotely is also convenient, and while Windows Mobile doesn't support direct printing from your mobile phone through the operating system, you can use a third-party application, such as ActivePrint, to print from your mobile phone.

Instructions

1. Download the ActivePrint Traveler from http://activeprinttraveler.com. You can download the application to your computer and transfer it to your mobile phone, or you can download it directly onto your mobile phone. Register online to get a username and password, which you will need in order to print. Install the application on your mobile phone.

2. Launch the application on your mobile phone. The menu will ask you where you'd like to print from. You can choose "Photo from Camera," "Photo from Album," "File from Storage," "Contact, "Web Page" or "Notepad." You can choose different file types, including photos, plain text, Web pages, address book contacts and office documents.

3. Set the printing options. After you select the file you want to print, an option box will appear, allowing you to specify the number of copies and portrait mode of your file. After you set the options, the application will prompt you to log in with your username and password.

4. Connect the USB drive to your computer and launch the ActivePrint travel helper application from your USB drive. This application will also prompt you to log in, so you must type the same username and password for the process to continue.

5. Click "Print" on the screen to send the file to your printer.
