The Palm Treo 700 is manufactured with a couple of different ways it can communicate and transfer information wirelessly, including Bluetooth technology and Wi-Fi connections. The basic ability to connect the Treo 700 to a computer via its sync cable is necessary to accomplish certain tasks like synchronizing contact information with the Palm desktop software. Attaching the sync cable of the Palm Treo 700 is fairly straightforward and simple.
Instructions
1. Plug the sync cable into an available USB port on the computer. You may also plug the sync cable into a USB hub connected to the computer. If you use a USB hub, it must be a powered one.
2. Plug the other end of the sync cable into the bottom of the Palm Treo 700.
3. Connect the charger cable to the connecting port on the plug of the sync cable under the Treo 700 connection. This connecting port for the charger cable is located on the bottom of the plug. Plug the other end of the charger into an available outlet.
