Nokia 6555 Problems

With so many mobile phones out there it's hard to choose which one is best. Many people want a nice phone without paying a lot of money, so they go with a low to medium priced phone. One of the more popular phones in that price range is the Nokia 6555. While this phone does have some nice features, there are also many downfalls. Continue reading to learn about common problems with the Nokia 6555.

Battery

The battery life on the Nokia 6555 gets complaints from almost everybody who owns, or has owned, this phone. Using any type of application on this phone drains the battery after just over an hour of continuous use. There are also issues with the battery not getting a full charge, and sometimes it even stops charging after a few minutes of being plugged in.

Predictive Text

The predictive text program is meant to help save time by predicting what word you want to type when sending a text message, but on the Nokia 6555 it proves to be somewhat of a nuisance. On most phones, the predictive text displays a list of words that may be what you are looking for. With the Nokia 6555 it only has one word displayed, and if this isn't the word you need, you must go to a separate Options menu to find what you were looking for.

Camera

The quality of photos taken with the Nokia 6555 camera are of average quality, but the placement of the camera could not be worse. When the phone is flipped open, the camera lens is where your forefinger would naturally sit when holding the phone. There are two likely outcomes when taking a picture: either the tip of your finger will be in the corner of the photograph, or it will be blurry because it was difficult to hold steady.

Restarting

The Nokia 6555 phone is notorious for turning off and on at random times. You could be having a conversation, sending a text message, listening to music, or not even touching it at all, and it will restart itself. This can be incredibly annoying, especially in the middle of an important phone call.

Not user-friendly

Somebody who isn't technology savvy may find it difficult to use certain functions on the Nokia 6555. Saving files to memory cards and setting ringtones cause the most confusion among users. These problems can be figured out by reading the instruction manual, but it still ranks low on the user friendly scale when compared to other mobile phones.
