Make A Hoodie Ipod Compatible

An iPod or MP3 compatible hoodie is a hooded sweatshirt that has been altered to hold earphones and a media player. This compatible hoodie is easy to make and comfortable to wear. It makes a great present for anyone who loves to listen to their iPod while out and about.

Instructions

1. Measure the length, width and depth of the iPod or MP3 player. Add the depth to the length and width measurements. Add 1/2 inch to the length and width measurements.

2. Fold the fabric in half. Make a pocket out of the fabric for the media player. Fold the fabric into a pocket to match the final measurements from Step 1. Sew the sides together. Leave the top open for the iPod.

3. Turn the hooded sweatshirt inside out. Cut out a hole the size of the fabric pocket in the material behind the sweatshirt's pocket.

4. Sew the fabric pocket inside the hole you cut out. Leave a small hole in the pocket to feed the earphones through.

5. Cut 2 holes in the base of the hood. The holes must be big enough to slide the earphones into. Fold the fabric around the holes in and hem the holes, to avoid raveling.

6. Mark the hood where the earphones come out by your ears. Cut small holes in the inside of the hood. Hem around the edges of the holes.

7. Place the iPod or MP3 into the pocket you made. Run the earphones up through the holes in the bottom of the hood.

8. Feed the earphones through the hood and out the holes by the ears.
