Remove Standard Apps From An Iphone

IPhone applications allow users to change the functionality of the device with the tap of a finger. They can be downloaded from the Apple App Store using the iTunes desktop application. The apps are then transferred to the iPhone when it synchronizes with the software. To remove the apps from the iPhone if you no longer use them, delete the apps in iTunes and then sync the iPhone with the software to complete the removal process.

Instructions

1. Launch the iTunes software program.

2. Click "Applications" on the left pane of the window. The current applications that are downloaded and installed are displayed.

3. Right-click on the application you want to delete, then select "Delete" from the pop-up menu. Click the "Remove" button when prompted to confirm the deletion. Click the "Move to Trash" button on the subsequent pop-up window.

4. Connect the iPhone to the computer with the USB cord. Click the "Sync" button. Click the "Don't Transfer" button on the pop-up message window. The application that was deleted from iTunes will also be removed from the iPhone.
