Format Sd Cards On A Panasonic Tz5k

You can format SD cards on a Panasonic TZ5K.


The TZ5K is a digital camera from Panasonic, branded as "Lumix." A 9-megapixel camera, the TZ5K has a hard drive and Secured Digital (SD) card slot to hold digital images. As with other digital cameras, the TZ5K can accommodate various sizes of SD cards that need to be formatted in order to function properly with the camera. You can format SD cards on a Panasonic TZ5K by following a few steps.








Instructions








1. Insert the SD card into the camera. Make certain the camera is turned off. Slide the "Open/Lock" button to the "Open" position. Open the lid and insert the SD card. Close the lid.


2. Turn the camera on. Select the "Normal Picture" mode using the rotary dial on top of the camera. Slide the "Record/Play" button to the "Play" position. Press the "Menu/Set" button in the center of the directional arrows near the LCD screen on the back of the camera.


3. Use the "Down" directional arrow to select the "Setup" menu, which is represented with a "wrench" icon. Use the "Right" directional arrow to access the "Setup" menu options. Use the "Up" directional arrow to access page 5 of the "Setup" menu. Use the directional arrows to highlight the "Format" option.


4. Use the "Right" directional arrow to select the format process. Select "Yes" using the "Up" directional arrow. Press the "Menu/Set" button in the center of the directional arrows to format the SD card. When the LCD screen displays the "No valid picture to play" text, the formatting process is complete.
