Use The Micro Sd Adapter For A Samsung E900

You can use an optional Micro SD memory card with the Samsung E900. Cards designed for installing in phones are physically smaller than the cards generally used in a camera. Most laptops and PCs don't have a card reader that can handle the small physical size of the Micro SD card, so an adapter is used to bring the Micro SD card up to standard camera-type SD size.

Instructions

1. Hold the phone with the screen facing you and take a look at the left-hand side. About three quarters of the way down you will see the memory card slot on the side.

2. Use your finger to press the top of the memory card and it will disengage from the phone and pop out slightly.

3. Slide the card out of the slot.

4. Insert the card into the bottom of the card adapter. It will only go in one way, so don't force it. Many Micro SD cards are supplied with an adapter, or you can buy one separately at a big-box consumer electronics retailer. An economic solution may be to buy a second memory card which includes the adapter. You'll end up with two cards--twice the memory--and the adapter.

5. Insert the card adapter into the SD slot on your computer or laptop. If your computer or laptop doesn't have an SD slot, purchase an SD card reader which plugs into a USB jack.

6. The card will be recognized by the computer. The drive will appear on the screen and you can now copy the images or other files over to your computer.

7. When you have completed working with the files on the card, you can delete them which allows you to free up space for more photographs.
