Loading Instructions For Film Of A 35mm Dora Camera

When a children's show takes off, so does the merchandising, and the popular "Dora the Explorer" show on Nick Jr. has spawned hundreds of different Dora-branded products. Among these are objects she actually uses on the show, like her trusty backpack and camera. Kids love to imitate what they see on TV and, inspired by Dora's character, they're likely to don a backpack and go exploring around their house or neighborhood The appropriate camera would be a natural accessory -- even if the task of loading it with film does fall to the parents.

Instructions

1. Push the back cover release to open the back cover. The release is located on the back of to the left side.

2. Insert the film into the film chamber on the right hand side.

3. Pull the film out of the canister a few inches by the leader. The leader is the small tab that extends from the film canister.

4. Place the film leader on to the take-up spool on the right side of the camera body.

5. Turn the film advance wheel on the bottom left. Make sure the film is engaging properly with the gears on the take-up spool and actually advancing.

6. Close the back cover.

7. Press the shutter and advance the film. Repeat this until the film counter on the top of the camera reads "1." This advances the film to the first usable frame on the roll.
