Diy Diffuser In Photography

A diffuser creates very soft light.

A photographer diffuser is a device that is placed between the light source and the subject to soften the light. The result is a professional photo with no harsh shadows or overexposed reflections. While official diffusers can be bought, you can make one yourself at home for much less. Your homemade diffuser may not be as versatile as a professional kit, but it will produce similar results.

Instructions

1. Cut the hooks of the hangers off with pliers. Straighten each wire.

2. Form the hangers into a large rectangle. Tape them together to hold their shape. You can sturdy the object by overlapping wire pieces.

3. Cut out a piece of drawing piece that is slightly bigger than your wire rectangle.

4. Tape the drawing paper to the rectangle so that it is taut.

5. Ask a friend to hold the diffuser or position two chairs to hold the diffuser between your light source and the subject. Take photos as you desire.
