Download songs to increase the KOD-100 Karaoke player's playlist.
The KOD-100 karaoke player, manufactured by Zhuhai Sanjin Industrial Company, allows you to play and store music on SD memory cards and an internal SATA hard drive. You must purchase the hard drive separately, but once the drive is installed, you can transfer songs located on your computer's hard drive. Increase the number of songs available on your KOD-100 when you connect it to your computer and download songs to the karaoke player's internal hard drive.
Instructions
1. Turn off the KOD-100 karaoke player before using a USB cable to connect the KOD-100 to your computer.
2. Turn on the KOD-100 once connected. Press the remote control's "Menu" button, and then press the "5" button twice before pressing "OK" to exit "Karaoke Mode" and enter the "Setup" menu.
3. Use the remote control to navigate to the "USB Mode" menu option, and then set the mode to "On" by pressing the right or left arrow key. After a few minutes, your computer will recognize the KOD-100 as a connected device. The time this process takes will vary depending on the speed of your computer.
4. Locate the songs you want to transfer to the KOD-100 by opening Windows Explorer on your computer. Copy the songs from your computer to the KOD-100 using the copy and paste commands. Or, you can drag and drop the songs to download them to your karaoke player.
