Having your favorite digital music files on your cell phone can prove convenient while traveling or during downtime. The LG AX565 is a music-enabled cell phone that uses microSD memory cards for storage. Once you have formatted a microSD memory card to your LG AX565 you may then use its storage capacity to house your music files. Connect the phone to your personal computer through the handset's USB adapter to transfer---or, sideload---music files.
Instructions
1. Format your microSD memory card to the LG AX565 cell phone if you have not already done so. Insert the microSD card into the cell phone's microSD port and select "Format" from the "Memory" tab inside the handset's "Settings" menu. The LG AX565 will create folders on the microSD card.
2. Install the LG AX565 USB cable drivers onto your personal computer. Insert the phone's cable drivers installation CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive and follow the ensuing setup wizard's instructions.
3. Connect the LG AX565 to your computer. Insert the USB end of the phone's USB cable into an available USB port on your computer. Insert the other end of the cable into the phone. Wait for your computer to register the LG AX565 as a connected device.
4. Set your cell phone to USB connection mode. Select "USB Mass Storage" from the "USB Setting" tab on your cell phone's "Settings" menu.
5. Double-click the LG AX565's device icon in your computer's file manager to access the handset's microSD card. Open the "Music" folder.
6. Open the folder containing the digital music files you want to transfer onto the LG AX565's microSD card. Open this file folder in a separate window.
7. Drag and drop the digital music files from their folder into the open "Music" folder.
