Many cell phone and electronics manufacturers include hidden, or "secret," menu screens in their devices' operating systems. Most of the time, these menus contain settings and options that the everyday user will never use, such as cell phone carrier settings or manufacturer defaults. The Motorola Razr's secret window allows for full phone resets, web session logs, user activation and a test mode for cell phone carriers to make sure the phone will work on their network. Follow a simple process to access this menu.
Instructions
Access the Programming Menu
1. Turn off the Motorola Razr by holding down the right red key.
2. Restart the Razr by holding down the left green key.
3. Enter the code #073887* quickly when the phone turns on.
4. Type the phone's security code when prompted. The default security code is 000000, but you have most likely changed it in your phone settings.
5. Scroll through the menu to change global phone settings, reset the browser or activate a user.
6. Press the CLR button and the left arrow key on the Razr's keypad to exit the Test Mode.
