6 allows you to place your contacts into specific categories. Once your contacts are categorized, you can view the contacts inside each category. This helps you stay organized, particularly if you have a large number of contacts. No matter which device you are using, you can easily add and edit a contact's categories in Windows Mobile 6.
Instructions
1. Tap "Start" with your stylus or press the left soft key for non-touchscreen models. Select "Contacts" from the start menu.
2. Scroll down and select the contact whose category you want to edit. Press "Menu" and select "Edit."
3. Scroll down and select the "Category" section. If no category is set, it will read "No Category."
4. Select each applicable category box for the contact. For example, you can select "Business," "Personal," "Seasonal" or "Holiday."
5. Tap "OK" twice to exit. This changes the category for the contact. Repeat as necessary.
