The CMT-NEZ30 is a model of micro hi-fi system manufactured by Sony, a multi-national Japanese electronics company based in Tokyo. The CMT-NEZ30 features a CD player, a radio function, tape deck and external component input for connecting MP3 players or other external audio sources. You can use any of these features quite easily to enjoy your favorite music in no time. You should allow a few minutes to familiarize yourself with your Sony CMT-NEZ30.
Instructions
Playing A CD
1. Repeatedly press the "Function" button, beneath the power button, until "CD" appears on the screen.
2. Press the eject button on the top of the hi-fi and insert a CD. Close the lid.
3. Press the "Play/Pause" button on the front of the stereo. The CD will begin to play. Adjust the volume by turning the largest dial on the front of the stereo. Skip between tracks using the forward and backward buttons beneath the volume dial.
Playing A Tape
4. Repeatedly press the "Function" button, beneath the power button, until "Tape" appears on the screen.
5. Press the eject button on the front of the hi-fi beneath the control buttons and insert a tape. Close the tape door.
6. Press the "Play/Pause" button on the front of the stereo. The tape will begin to play. Adjust the volume by turning the largest dial on the front of the stereo. Fast forward and rewind between tracks using the buttons beneath the volume dial.
Listening to the Radio
7. Repeatedly press the "Function" button, beneath the power button, until "FM" or "AM" appears on the screen.
8. Repeatedly press the "Tuning Mode" button beneath the hi-fi screen until "Auto" appears on the screen.
9. Automatically scan through the available stations by pressing the fast forward and rewind buttons beneath the volume dial. Adjust the volume by turning the largest dial on the front of the stereo.
Playing An External Component (MP3 Player)
10. Turn the volume down using the largest dial on the front of the stereo.
11. Connect an end of the 3.5 mm jack cable into the "Audio In" socket on the side of the hi-fi.
12. Connect the other end to the headphone socket of your MP3 player or other device.
13. Turn the volume back up using the dial on the front of the hi-fi.
14. Repeatedly press the "Function" button, beneath the power button, until "Audio In" appears on the screen.
15. Press play on your MP3 player or other device. Adjust the volume to your liking on the front of the hi-fi. Control the MP3 player or other device as normal.
