The Nuvi 350 is a GPS model produced by the navigational product manufacturer Garmin. Features of the Garmin Nuvi 350 include preloaded street maps, point-of-interest finder, jpeg picture viewer, MP3 player and an anti-theft alarm. If you have a Nuvi 350, you will want to keep the GPS unit updated with the most recent software upgrades.
Instructions
1. Go to the Garmin website and find the Nuvi 350 in the product catalog. You will find a "Software" link on the product page. Click the link to get redirected to the updater webpage.
2. Download the Garmin WebUpdater onto your computer. If you have not yet installed the WebUpdater, you will need to do this prior to continuing. Follow the on-screen instructions when you click the link.
3. Connect the Nuvi 350 to your PC. You will need the USB cable included with the device in order to update the GPS. Connect both ports before continuing.
4. Run the WebUpdater program. It will automatically update itself each time you open the application. It will then run a scan of your Nuvi 350 to determine if a new update is available.
5. Keep the Nuvi 350 connected until WebUpdater has finished installing the latest updates. Restart the unit, and it will be ready for use. You can then close the WebUpdater.
