Having a TomTom GPS in your car can ensure that you never lose your way and that you can avoid traffic, even in unfamiliar areas. By purchasing TomTom's premium services, your TomTom automotive navigation system can offer you a host of options besides nagavation, including real time traffic updates, information on local fuel prices, safety cameras and local Google searches, as well as other helpful services in their LIVE Services bundle.
Instructions
1. Go to TomTom's official website.
2. Double-click the "Shop" tab in the top middle of the screen.
3. Click the "LIVE Services" box in the middle of the second row.
4. Purchase the Live Services subscription. It will include all of TomTom's premium services, including traffic updates. At the time of this writing, it is not possible to buy traffic updates outside of this package.
5. Download your purchased services to your computer.
6. Access the TomTom Home application that came with your GPS.
7. Update your TomTom using TomTom Home. This will add your purchased services to the device.
