Mitsubishi is a very popular manufacturer of wide-screen high-definition televisions. Although Mitsubishi is a reputable electronics manufacturer, there are some common problems that users have experienced with their Mitsubishi wide-screen televisions. You can, however, troubleshoot your Mitsubishi wide-screen TV before taking it in for repair.
Instructions
1. Perform a hard reset if you are experiencing problems with a concave projection. A concave projection is when the corners of the picture are cut off and the picture becomes distorted in the middle of the screen. This has been a reported problem with Mitsubishi wide-screen TVs. To perform a hard reset, turn the TV off and unplug the cord for two to four hours. Turn the television back on.
2. Move closer to the television set and try your remote control again if you are experiencing a lag in remote-control response time, another reported problem with Mitsubishi television sets. If that doesn't fix the problem, replace the batteries in the remote.
3. Make sure that your video cables are securely and properly connected from your television to your cable box if you are experiencing intermittent picture.
4. Securely connect the audio cables if you are experiencing problems with the audio. Again, this has been a reported issue with Mitsubishi televisions.
