The Palm Treo combines a PDA, camera and cell phone all into one handheld device. One of the most convenient features of this device is the infrared port that allows you to beam contact information back and forth between other Palm devices. This will allow you to transfer information quickly and will keep you from the monotonous task of having to write it down manually.
Instructions
1. Turn your Treo on and click on the house icon that is located on the left hand side of the screen. This will take you to the main menu.
2. Press the icon that looks like a ladder to open the applications menu and select the "Beam" option.
3. Point the Treo 750 directly at the other Palm device and make sure that they are within a few feet of one another.
4. Find the contact that you wish send and select it. Press "Beam" and it will begin sending. You will see a status bar that will indicate how long it will take to send the file. Once it is finished you will get a confirmation that sending is complete.
