The Konica Minolta Bizhub C5501 is a printer for corporate or business applications. Files can be sent to the printer directly from employee work stations. Discharge of Printouts
1. Check the paper drawers to ensure paper is available for printing. If the drawer is empty, add paper and close the drawer. The Konica Minolta Bizhub will recognize paper has been added and begin printing.
2. Open the access doors of the printer and check for a paper jam.
3. Remove the jammed paper and close the access doors. The printer should resume printing.
No Power
4. Touch the access panel to activate it. Ensure the power switch of the C5501 is turned on.
5. Check that the power cord is plugged into the wall socket securely, and turn the power switch off and on again to reset the printer. This will cause the C5501 to reboot.
6. Locate the breaker that services the Konica Minolta C5501 and check to see if it has been tripped. If the breaker has been tripped, reset it and power will be restored to the printer.
Copies
7. Place the paper to be copied on the glass and press "Enter." If the copy isn't processed, look at the display screen of the Konica Minolta C5501 for an error code. The Konica Minolta C5501 has security features that prevent unauthorized individuals from making copies. The display screen will show a message stating that an access code is required.
8. Press "OK" on the display screen to clear the error message.
9. Enter the access code using the keypad at the bottom of the display, and press the "Enter" button. Enter the rest of the information needed to complete the copy job.
