New parents do not have to stress about putting together their Kolcraft bassinet.
The Kolcraft line of bassinets are small cribs designed for infants to sleep in from birth to approximately 3 months old. They are usually kept in a parent's room so a mother can have quick access to the newborn during frequent late-night feedings. No tools are needed when putting together the Kolcraft Tender Vibes bassinet, and the assembly only takes a handful of steps.
Instructions
Assembling Frame and Bassinet
1. Insert the four wheels into the bottom of the stand's legs. Unfold the stand and push down on the side locks to secure it.
2. Open the support bars on the bottom of the bassinet bed. Clip each support leg into the hooks on the floorboard.
3. Fasten all the snaps on the bottom of the bassinet cover to the bassinet's floorboard. Put the pad inside the bassinet bed.
4. Open and place the locking attachment clips on the bottom of the bed onto the top rail of the stand. Close the clips when the bed is in place. To test it, pull up on the bassinet bed to see if it stays together.
Assembling the Basket
5. Push each of the two rods through the holes in the bottom of the basket on either end of the stand into the holes in the stand.
6. Pull the basket tightly over the basket's rods so none of the fabric bunches up.
7. Put each elastic loop onto each of the four basket hooks.
Attaching the Canopy
8. Snap the ends of the canopy into the clip in the middle of the bassinet's frame.
9. Fasten the fabric on the canopy to the Velcro piece on the bassinet.
10. Remove the canopy from the bassinet by holding the clip with one hand and pulling back the canopy's rod away from the clip until the canopy pops out.
