Put A Micro Sd Chip In An M2 Adaptor

Preserve the precious moments with your digital camera and a microSD chip.

Saving data is such an important task in modern digital life that hardware and software developers are continuously looking for new and better ways to simplify the chore for average users. The days of the bulky floppy disk are gone, and sooner or later, the widely used hard disk drive will be replaced, too. Many devices such as cellphones, cameras and MP3 players are now using microSD cards for storage. This type of storage device is as tiny as the tip of your finger and it can hold gigabytes of data. The problem is, it's not compatible with every hardware device and may require the use of accessories like the M2 adapter.

Instructions

1. Pick up the M2 adapter between two fingers and handle it gently. The adapter is a delicate device and needs to be handled with care. Do not squeeze or expose it to water or extreme temperatures.

2. Turn the M2 adapter face up. A microSD card can fit only one way in an adapter. You can verify that the adapter is face if the label or arrow is visible; if not, turn the adapter over.

3. Insert the microSD card into the slot on the M2 adapter, with the gold or silver metallic contacts going in first. An arrow should also illustrate the direction of insertion. Push the microSD card into the adapter until it clicks into place.
