If you own an LG X cellular phone made by Cingular, it is important to learn use the phone and its features properly. The LG X is a flip phone that has a small LCD screen on the outside to display the time and the numbers of incoming callers as well as a larger LCD screen on the inside to help navigate the phone's features.
Instructions
1. Open the flip phone and press and hold the green "Phone" button located on the left side of the phone below the screen to turn on the phone. Holding this button for two to three seconds while the phone is on will also turn it off.
2. Press the left "-" button located directly below the screen to select the command that is appearing on the left side of the LCD screen directly above it. On the home screen, it will be used to access the menu.
3. Press the right "-" button located directly below the screen to select the command that is appearing on the right side of the LCD screen directly above it. On the home screen, it will be used to access the Contacts tab.
4. Use the numbers on the number pad to enter phone numbers into the phone. Press the "Phone" button once the number is entered to make a call. Press the "End" button located directly below the right "-" button to end a call.
5. Use the numbers on the number pad to enter letters if entering text. The buttons correspond with the letters located on each key. For example, when pressing the "1" key, you can access the letters "A," "B" or "C." Press the button once for "A." twice for "B" and three times for "C." The same principle applies for all of the buttons on the keypad.
