Create A Panorama Online

Tokoyo Panoramic Photo.

The neat thing about creating a panorama is that you can take a series of photos of the same place, or event and then, using a free software program, you can then stitch those images together in such a way as to make it appear that it is all one photo. That is the beauty of a panorama, and for those who may not want to have to hassle with a camera that can take panoramic shots, this can be a very good thing.

Instructions

1. Download a copy of Windows Live Photo Gallery at the first link in the Resources section below.

2. Take a series of photos that slightly overlap, such as a beach scene.

3. Upload the series of photos to your computer, and they will automatically be added to Windows Live Photo Gallery.

4. Open Windows Live Photo Gallery.

5. Select all the photos in your series by holding down the control key and clicking on each one.

6. Click on the "Make" drop down menu, and then click on "Create a Panoramic Photo." The program will fit all the photos together in such a way that they nearly already look like one panoramic shot.

7. Select the "Fix" drop down menu, and click on "Crop Photo." Using your mouse, crop the area of the newly stitched-together photos that you want to keep, and then click "Apply" so that only the portion you cropped will be saved, and the rest deleted.

8. Save your panoramic photo.

9. Upload your photo to your website, or to a photo sharing website like Photo Bucket, or Windows Live Photo.
