Sony Tck2a Specs

Sony's TC-K2A is a vintage stereo cassette deck that was manufactured from 1978 to 1984. At the time of its original release, its suggested retail price was approximately $200. The deck had both playback and tape recording features. Due to its age, the deck is no longer sold by Sony, but can be found at auctions and antique stores. Measurements, Heads and Display


The TC-K2A measures 5-inches high and 17-inches wide, with a depth of 9 inches and weighs 5 lbs. The system features a two-head design. Its display contains analog needle meters and a three-digit mechanical counter.

The system uses a headphone jack and two mono microphone inputs. It also features DIN and RCA input/output connectors. The system has ferro-chrome, chrome and normal tape capabilities, as well as a three-position tape selector.
