The phone book is one of the most important features on a cell phone. It's the phone book that allows you to store phone numbers, email, addresses and other important information on your phone. TracFone has a variety of cell phones, each with a different set of features in its phone book. Even though the features of each phone book may be a bit different, accessing and using the phone book is a simple process that starts with the menu button.
Instructions
1. Press the "menu" button on your phone. This will take you to the phone's main menu. Using the arrow keys, scroll down the menu until you see "phone book" or "contact list." Then press "OK." This will take you to the submenus of the phone book.
2. If you are adding a new contact, scroll down to the section that says "New Contact" or "New" and then press "OK." This will allow you to enter new information into your phone book.
3. If you want to change an existing contact, go to the main menu of the phone book. Use the arrow keys to scroll to the contact that you want to change and press "OK." This will open the information for that contact and allow you to change the information listed for that person.
4. To call someone in your phone book, press the "menu" button on your phone. Scroll down to the phone book and press "OK." This will take you to your phone book. Once there, scroll to the person that you want to call. Press the "Talk" button on your phone to call the person that you have selected.
