The Memorex MKS8590 Karaoke machine has a LCD display for SD/MMC (Security Digital/MultiMediaCard) card reading. This stereo unit has the ability to record vocals as well as guitar, keyboard and drums simultaneously. It also has audio/video outputs to enable a connection to your television and home entertainment system. The operation of the Memorex MKS8590 Karaoke stereo is fairly straightforward and user-friendly.
Instructions
Playing CDs
1. Press the "Power" button in the top left-hand corner of the front panel of the MKS8590 to turn it on.
2. Press the "Open/Close" area at the top of the karaoke machine. This will open the CD compartment. Place the CD into the compartment with the CD label facing upwards, and then close the CD compartment cover.
3. Press the "CD+G Play/Pause" button to play a track from the CD. You will see the "Play/Pause" indicator light come on.
Recording
4. Connect the microphone to the MKS8590 using the one of the two "MIC" jacks on the front-right face of the machine.
5. Insert the SD/MMC memory card into the "SD/MMC" card slot on the front-right of the machine or plug your USB cord connection into the USB jack on the front-right of the face of the machine. You may choose to record directly onto your SD/MMC memory disc or onto a computer connected to the machine via USB cord.
6. Press the "REC" button on the front of the machine to begin recording. You will see "REC" appear in the display indicating that the unit is recording.
