Clarion provides digital media players for cars and trucks, including radios, CD and DVD players, and Internet connection devices. Many of the receivers Clarion produces can play satellite radio services, such as XM Radio. VRX765VD Multimedia Station
This receiver connects to XM or Sirius satellite radio. It features the M-Bass EX technology, 200 watt high-powered amplification and six-channel sound. In addition to the standard AM/FM receiver and CD playback functions, the VRX765VD features an auxiliary input for iPods or other MP3 players, MP3 CD and WMA CD playback, DTS digital decoding, and a PEQ Parametric Equalizer. A digital optical output also gives this system the ability to support DVD playback. The receiver features an attached seven-inch LCD screen. Up to six discs can be loaded at a time. This receiver also features a removable panel and remote control.
CX609 Receiver
The CX609 is another receiver with XM Satellite Radio compatibility. It features an XM Mini-Tuner Direct and a Sirius Satellite receiver. In addition to satellite radio, the CX609 features a CD player with MP3, WMA and AAC compatibility, a USB port for digital media streaming, 18 FM and six AM terrestrial radio pre-sets, an illuminated key panel and Bluetooth capability. The Bluetooth allows the driver to pair the phone to the car and take calls on a hands-free microphone included with the receiver. Bluetooth on the CX609 also allows for music streaming from applications, such as Pandora or Wunder Radio.
CZ500 Receiver
This model is also high-definition radio ready with a TDH300 HD tuner that features iTunes tagging. This unit features a rear USB port for iPod connection, a front auxiliary port for connecting other MP3s or personal media devices, a two-lineLCD screen, and an integrated rotary volume changer. This receiver features a 200 watt overall performance with a dynamic Beat EQ Equalizer. The CZ500 also features standard AM/FM radio, and CD, MP3 and WMA playback.
