Install A Toshiba Bluetooth

Bluetooth is an amazing technology that allows you to extend the portability of your Toshiba cell phone or computer. Bluetooth is easy to use, and connecting your portable device to a Bluetooth device couldn't be easier. In just a few steps, you'll be synced and your device will be ready for use.

Instructions

1. Charge your Bluetooth device. Using the supplied wall or USB charger, charge your headset or other device so it has optimal power to connect to your cell phone or computer. Usually, a red or green light indicates that it is charging or fully charged.

2. Pair your Toshiba Bluetooth device. Using the network menu of your computer or cell phone, turn on Bluetooth. This should automatically put it in "pairing" mode, meaning it will actively seek out Bluetooth connections in the area. At this time, turn on your Bluetooth device.

3. Configure the device. Your device should show up in your computer or cell phone's list of compatible devices. Select it to finish pairing. If it requires a password, enter "0000" as the default. Consult your device's manual if its default password is different. Once the device is paired, you should see a small icon on your phone or computer to represent the Bluetooth connection.

4. Test your Toshiba device. If it is a headset, make a call and adjust the volume as necessary. If you connected a device to your computer, try transferring files. Once your Toshiba device is configured, its profile will be saved and will connect automatically when you turn it on and enable Bluetooth.
