Protect Plastic Headlight Lenses

Protect Plastic Headlight Lenses

Protecting your vehicle's plastic headlight lenses now can save you a lot of money in repairs to your headlight assembly later on. Damage caused by stone or rock chips while driving, or from UV damage, can be expensive to repair. In some cases, if your headlight lens cannot be removed from the headlight assembly, the entire assembly will need to be replaced. You can purchase inexpensive plastic headlight covers from aftermarket dealers for the make and model of your vehicle. These inexpensive covers fit over your existing headlights and protect the lens from damage.

Instructions

1. Open the hood on your vehicle.

2. Align the headlight lens cover to the plastic headlight lens on your vehicle and orient the cover so that the shape of the lens cover matches and lines up perfectly with the headlight lens.

3. Press the headlight lens cover over the headlight lens until it snaps into place.

4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for other headlight lens.
