Connect The Sony Dvpc670d Cd/Dvd Player To A Tv







You connect the Sony DVP-C670D CD/DVD Player to a TV so that you can hear your CD or DVD through the television speakers. If you have a new DVP-C670D CD/DVD Player, the unit features an audio/video/S-link connecting cord which you can use to make the connection. Instructions


1. Set your Sony DVP-C670D CD/DVD Player in a convenient location near your television. If you have the supplied audio/video/S-link connecting cord, make sure that the cord can easily connect your TV and the CD/DVD player.


2. Look at the back of your DVP-C670D CD/DVD Player. Find the "Audio Out" section in the bottom left-hand corner of the back panel. The "Audio Out" jacks are color-coded red and white, and there are two sets of these jacks.


3. Take your audio/video/S-link connecting cord and insert the red color-coded plug into the red "Audio Out" jack. Next, connect the white color-coded plug into the white jack.


4. Find the "Video Out" section of the back panel. There are two output jacks, color-coded yellow. Insert the yellow video plug of your audio/video/S-link cable into the yellow color-coded jack.








5. Go to the back of your television. Find the input and output panel. Connect the red and white audio plugs to the appropriate color-coded audio input jacks.


6. Insert the yellow video plug into the yellow color-coded video input jack. If your television has S-video capability, use an S-video cable to hook up the video for your television instead.


7. Turn on the Sony DVP-C670D CD/DVD Player and your television. Insert a CD or DVD and check your connections.
