Make A Playlist For Logitech Boombox

The Logitech Squeezebox Boom can create playlists from the music stored on your computer. Playlists are created by adding each track to the playlist using the remote control or the control buttons on the boombox. You can give your playlists names so that you can find them later for playback. Each saved playlist is a text file that takes up a small amount of space on your computer. The number of playlists you can create is only limited by the amount of available memory on your computer.

Instructions

1. Press "Home" on the remote control to access the Home screen on the Logitech Squeezebox Boom, or press the "Back" button on the boombox until the Home screen appears.

2. Push the down arrow button on the remote control or turn the navigation wheel on the boombox until "Settings" appears on the screen.

3. Press the right arrow button on the remote control or click the navigation wheel to select "Settings."

4. Select "Music Source" and then the name of the computer you connected to the Logitech Squeezebox.

5. Scroll through your music collection using the up or down arrow buttons on the remote control or by turning the navigation wheel.

6. Press the "Play" button on the remote control or on the boombox to select the first track in the playlist. The song starts playing. You can pause the song while selecting the rest of the playlist by pressing the "Pause" button.

7. Scroll to the next song that you want to add to the playlist and press the "Add" button, which has a "+" symbol, on the remote control or on the boombox.

8. Add all of the songs you want to include in the playlist. You are not limited by the number of songs you can place in a playlist.

9. Return to the Home screen, select "Extras" and then "Save Playlist."

10. Enter a name for your playlist using the arrow buttons on the remote control or the navigation wheel on the boombox.

11. Recall the playlist by returning to the Home screen, selecting "Music Library," "Playlists" and the name of the playlist.
