Record Slingbox Pro In Hd

It is possible to view and record HD programming on your home HD television.

A Slingbox is a digital device that connects to your cable or satellite receiver. With the information running into the Slingbox you are able to view the television content on just about any other device, such as a computer or a cellphone. If you have a Slingbox Pro HD, and an HD cable/satellite receiver, you do possess the ability to record content in full HD.

Instructions

1. Insert an HDMI cable into the "HDMI Out" port on the HD cable/satellite receiver.

2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI In" port on the Slingbox Pro HD device.

3. Power on both the receiver and the Slingbox, then press the "Guide" option on the receiver's remote control.

4. Push the directional arrow buttons to highlight the program you want, then push "Record." This records the content in HD, allowing you to later view the show on any video display device, thanks to the Slingbox Pro HD.
